The gynecology clinic has been conducting special specialized diagnostics and treatment of endometriosis for many years, and this year the high level of expertise received international recognition: the European Endometriosis League and the Endometriosis Research Foundation awarded the clinic the title of a certified center. Thus, these two organizations confirm expert diagnosis and competent performance of complex interdisciplinary operations for the treatment of endometriosis, including using the Da Vinci robot.
“Obtaining accreditation as an endometriosis treatment center is an important event for the entire German medical community,” says Professor Harald Krentel, head of the gynecology clinic. “Timely and correct diagnosis allows us to avoid serious consequences for the female body and is an important task for all specialists involved,” adds Dr. med. Sciences Kurosh Tagavi.
