Plastic correction of the nose (rhinoplasty) and profile

The external shape of the nose is formed mainly by the cartilage and bone frame. Sometimes, as a result of trauma or congenital predisposition, the shape of the nose can significantly disrupt the harmony of the face. Operational correction in this case must be carefully planned and carried out in accordance with individual aspects. The new nose shape should match the type of the patient's face. There is no standard ideal of beauty.

Nose correction is performed under general anesthesia. After the operation, there are no noticeable scars, since the intranasal method is usually used, i.e. from the inside through the nasal passage using an operating microscope. This microsurgical technique provides special precision, which makes it possible to practically avoid tissue damage. After the operation, a plaster stabilizing bandage is applied, which must be worn for 5-12 days. After a maximum of three weeks, the patient feels comfortable in society again. In order to achieve the most aesthetically harmonious profile, in some cases it makes sense to correct the chin area. Depending on the profile, sometimes a double chin needs to be corrected or an overly short chin needs to be moved forward optically. Surgical intervention is carried out, as a rule, minimally invasive, i.e. a particularly gentle method that does not leave visible external scars. Removal of a double chin, the so-called tumescent method (liposuction), does not require visible incisions in the skin. Ideally, the cartilaginous tissues of the body itself are used to model the cheekbones.

To achieve a long-term effect in the treatment of various types of facial and neck wrinkles, there are various technologies. For the treatment of mimic wrinkles (wrinkles on the forehead and near the eyes), botulinum toxin injections are often used, which give a good effect. On the 4-6th day after the injection, the result is visible, which lasts 3-8 months. In some cases, the prolongation of the effect can be facilitated by periodically introducing hyaluronic acid or tissues of one's own body. With the formation of deep wrinkles, especially in adulthood, a long-term effect is achieved by the method of surgical tightening. The doctors of the clinic are guided by the principle that the goal of smoothing wrinkles is to achieve a healthy natural appearance that corresponds to the individuality of a person and preserves facial expressions that convey his charm. Too narrow lips can give the impression of a "closed" person. Lip modeling can occur with the introduction of hyaluronic acid. The result of such modeling lasts, as a rule, about three months. Long-term changes can be achieved through the implantation of body tissues (fat and connective tissue).

Ear and eyelid correction

As a result of the correction, the size, position and shape of the auricle can be changed. One incision behind the ear is enough, leaving almost no scar after complete healing, in order to model the cartilaginous tissue of the auricle using special technologies and give the ear and ear fold an absolutely natural shape. For adults, this operation is performed under local or, if desired, under general anesthesia. The operation in children is performed exclusively under general anesthesia. Duration - 60-90 minutes. After the operation, it is necessary to wear a stabilizing bandage for 2-3 weeks, and for 6 weeks during a night's sleep - a bandage on the forehead. Correction of the upper and lower eyelids allows you to give the look a cheerful, optimistic expression. With edematous eyelids, excess skin and muscle of the upper eyelid are smoothed out. Often a simultaneous brow lift is needed. When correcting the eyelids, a new technology of suturing is used, in which the borders of the incision of the upper skin are not stitched, but glued together, as a result of which there is no need to remove the stitches. After about two weeks, the patient can again feel comfortable in society.
