With ovarian cancer, as a rule, there are no early symptoms, that is, there are no typical complaints that at the very beginning would help to suspect a possible disease.

Due to their anatomical position, the ovaries have enough free space for growth without causing any complaints.
However, there are still signs in which you need to be alert and go to the gynecologist. It is considered especially important if the symptoms have come only recently and the disorder during menstrual cycle more pronounced than usual.

Symptoms to look out for:

  • An increase in girth in the abdomen without increasing body weight (ascites)
  • Unspecified digestive disorders / feeling of fullness, flatulence
  • Often associated with general weakness, increased fatigue
  • Bleeding between cycles or after menopause
  • False urge to urinate or a feeling of pressure on the bladder
