Cancer of the body of the uterus (endometrial cancer, cancer of the body of the uterus) in the early stage does not cause any concern to the patient. Over time, during the development of a tumor, the body still sends some typical alarm signals.

The most important early symptom of endometrial cancer is unusual vaginal bleeding. Especially suspicious bleeding after menopause! However, in women before menopause, although much less frequently, endometrial cancer also occurs. Pain in the pelvic area, urination disorders or irregular stools appear most often only when neighboring organs are affected.

Symptoms that may occur:

  • bleeding after menopause
  • unusually heavy menstrual bleeding or bleeding between periods (in women older than 35)
  • appeared spotting bleeding before and after menstruation and (in women over 35 years old)
  • bloody or meat-colored slops, often with an unpleasant odor, discharge not associated with menstruation
  • pain in the lower abdomen
  • unclear weight loss
