Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Dirschka has been involved in the application of an aesthetic treatment program in dermatology for years. He is actively involved in scientific research in this area and conducts regular training workshops for doctors specializing in aesthetic dermatology. As a member of the trade union of German dermatologists in the field of plastic and aesthetic dermatology, Professor Thomas Dirschka actively represents the interests of German dermatologists.

In recent years, techniques have been developed that significantly reduce age-related changes in the face or even completely eliminate them.

Non-surgical treatment involves the elimination of wrinkles with the help of fillers (hyaluronic acid, collagens, lactic acid preparations), the reduction of volume loss in the facial area with fillers and the elimination of wrinkle-inducing muscle activity with botulinum toxin. Defects in the collagen delicate texture are amenable to fractionated laser systems. In addition, the laser can eliminate uneven pigment deposition and vascular disorders.

Operative treatment in our dermatological clinic includes eyelid surgery (upper and lower blepharoplasty), cheek and neck lift with various lifting methods, as well as removal of disturbing fat deposits through liposuction. The concept of treatment aims to achieve a rejuvenating effect without changing the basic type, while leaving the fact of the treatment as such visible.

Elimination of wrinkles

More than 15 years Professor Dr. med. Thomas Dirschka is involved in anti-ageing treatments and is directly involved with his R&D Certroderm Ltd. in the development and optimization of most of the products used today (eg botulinum toxins, hyaluronic acid preparations, alginates). In addition, the professor is associated with many leading enterprises as a consultant in the process of creating and selling drugs.

He regularly leads national and international courses to educate physicians in the confident and successful use of fillers and botulinum toxins. The goal of successful face correction is not to change the patient's inherent type. It is about much more, about emphasizing the positive aesthetic elements after a subtle analysis of the face, and eliminating the negative aesthetic elements with the help of the targeted use of suitable preparations. This is especially successful through a combined effect:

  • Filling filling: evens out age-related tissue defects
  • Lipofilling (the patient’s own adipose tissue acts as a “filler”): serves for extensive and persistent movement of tissue volume with large losses
  • Crease Filler: Targetedly reduces the depth and definition of facial creases
  • Surface fillers: eliminate fine wrinkles of skin microtexture
  • Botulinum toxins: reduce wrinkles caused by excessive muscle tension (especially the forehead area, the sides of the eyes and the neck)
  • Fractionated laser therapy: induces the contraction of weakened collagen bundles of the connective tissue, it primarily affects the microstructure of the skin.
  • RUBY Ruby Laser: Removes age spots and other troubling blemishes on light-exposed areas of the skin.

Professor Dirshka uses exclusively high-quality modern preparations of well-known European manufacturers and manufacturers of the United States of America, which have undergone fairly extensive testing and approval procedures for use. These include hyaluronic acid preparations Juvederm, Belotero, Restylane, Perlane and botulinum toxins Botox, Vistabel, Azzalur.
