The following symptoms may appear with bowel cancer:

  •  Blood in or on the stool that turns it red or black
  •  When the air leaves the rectum, there is a discharge in small amounts of blood, mucus or stool at the same time.
  • Changes in bowel habits, such as pencil-thin stools, constipation changing to diarrhea and vice versa.
  • Recurring, cramping abdominal pain for more than 1 week
  • Loud noises, rumbling in the abdomen, severe prolonged bloating
  • Frequent urge to empty the bowels, stools with a strong unpleasant odor.
  • Pallor, fatigue, tiredness, decreased performance, weight loss
  • Palpable lumps in the abdomen and/or enlarged lymph nodes

If you have one or more of these symptoms: please contact your doctor! Naturally, these symptoms can be in other, benign bowel diseases. To do this, the cause of the symptoms must be clarified with the help of examinations.
