The Dermatology Clinic of Prof. T. Dirschka is one of the first in Germany to start using the VivoSight OCT scanner in daily clinical practice for the diagnosis of skin diseases.

The latest generation VivoSight scanner helps accurately and timely diagnose all types of white skin cancer. Technology based on optical coherence tomography allows you to obtain high-precision images of biological tissue up to 2 mm deep, which makes it possible to confirm or refute a clinical diagnosis without a biopsy - in real time. “The undeniable advantage of this modern non-invasive research method is that it allows you to accurately determine the boundaries of the tumor and reduce the likelihood of repeated surgical interventions,” emphasizes Professor Dirschka.
